Midnight Update: We are still seeing a few isolated, light rain showers in southern Kentucky. This activity should end by 1 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures have leveled off across the region with most areas in the low 40s. Lexington is sitting at 43°.

Lexington reached a high of 56° this afternoon, and we will continue to climb higher this weekend!

After a couple of very chilly mornings, the first part of Saturday won't be as cold. Temperatures will start the day in the mid 30s as skies begin to clear from a mostly cloudy night.

Saturday will bring us more sunshine than clouds as temperatures climb to the low 60s! While this seems very warm compared to our recent weather, it is actually just average for this time of year.

Rain will start to push into the region early Sunday morning and will continue Easter morning. Rain will begin to taper off in the afternoon from west to east. Even with the rain on Easter, temperatures will still be near 60° in the afternoon!
