A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in effect tonight for southeast Kentucky. It will last until 9 A.M. Tuesday morning.

The skies will continue to clear this evening as temperatures quickly fall into the 40s. We'll bottom out in the mid 30s with rural locations in the low 30s and frost a potential by Tuesday morning. The winds will be light and out of the south.

After a cold start, plenty of sunshine should warm temperatures into the mid 60s by the afternoon. We'll peak around 65 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. The winds will be out of the south at 5 to 10 mph. It will be a dry day.

The chance for showers will return Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning along out next cold front. It is a rather weak cold front and only light showers are expected for mainly the Bluegrass. Behind the front more afternoon sunshine is expected with high temperatures in the upper 50s.
