Update: Clear skies are slowly drifting east this evening and are now near Bowling Green. Clouds will push east out of the area through the evening, allowing for sunny skies Monday. Ice cold weather is still expected to greet us Monday morning. Already, Lexington is down to 26° as we approach midnight.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will update you on our warmer weather Monday morning on Good Morning Kentucky starting at 5.

A few places could see a few flurries this evening before skies start to clear from west to east. By morning, we will have mostly clear skies with temperatures down near 20°.

Expect a very sunny afternoon Monday which will help us warm into the low 40s. Winds will be light.

The big warm-up starts on Tuesday with continued sunshine and afternoon highs around 50° in Lexington. Southern Kentucky will go even higher.

Later in the week, we will see our next round of rain and temperatures in the 60s!
