Update: Temperatures are already dropping into the mid and upper 20s across central and southern Kentucky this evening at the 11 o'clock hour. We've seen more cloud cover develop than expected, but temps will likely still make it down into the low 20s by morning. You'll want to break out those heavy coats for the Thursday morning commute.

We will warm back into the mid 30s Thursday afternoon, but westerly winds up to 15mph will make it feel a bit cooler than Wednesday.

Mostly clear skies and light winds will help to create ideal cooling conditions overnight. By morning, temperatures will be in the low 20s. A couple locations might even see a quick stop in the high teens.

The sunshine comes back out tomorrow with mostly sunny skies through the day. We will stay dry with afternoon highs near the mid 30s. Lexington can expect a high of around 37.

Low 20s will return to start the end of your work week Friday with temperatures again climbing into the mid 30s with afternoon sun.
