Ahead of a cold front high clouds will continue to filter into the region tonight. Temperatures will remain mild under the clouds. We'll only drop into the upper 40s by Friday morning.

The cold front should arrive in the Bluegrass between 8am-9am. Along the front a light passing shower will be possible, but measurable precipitation will be less than 0.10". Behind the front clouds will linger into the midday as temperatures remain in the mid to upper 40s. By the late afternoon some peaks of sun will be possible as temperatures fall into the low 40s, thanks to strong north winds. The north winds behind the front will be between 10-20 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Making wind chills fall into the upper 30s.

Saturday morning we'll start in the mid 20s and then only recover into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
