Partly cloudy skies will continue this evening, as temperatures fall through the 60s. Overnight low temperatures will then dip into the low 50s. Overnight fog is expected to redevelop, and become dense in some locations, especially southern Kentucky.

High pressure from the southwest will begin to invade the region on Wednesday, so after morning fog, more afternoon sunshine is expected. The winds will be out of the southwest at 3 to 10 mph. High temperatures will peak in the low 70s.

The warmest day of the week is expected on Thursday as temperatures peak in the mid to upper 70s under partly cloudy skies.
