Pleasant Weather Friday, Yet A Warning Trend Ahead

Midnight Update:  A dry, cool front has moved through Kentucky this evening, which will usher in drier air overnight.  Overnight will remain mostly clear with low temperatures around 58 degrees.  With the drier air around, Friday will be a comfortable day with a high of 81 degrees.  The Friday night high school football games look to be pleasant, with temperatures around 75 degrees.  Saturday will be a little warmer, with a high of 84 degrees under mostly sunny skies.  If you're heading out to the UK Football versus Miami (OH) at Noon on Saturday, temperatures will be around 78 degrees at kickoff, and warm into the lower 80s during the game.

A dry, cool front will move through this evening, bringing in drier and comfortable air for the end of the week. A warming trend returns this weekend into next week, with the humidity and rain chances increasing as well.

TONIGHT: We will have clearing skies after the cool front moves through, with overnight low temperatures falling to around 58 degrees. Some patchy fog will be possible for the valleys and rural areas by early Friday as well.

FRIDAY: We will have a beautiful and pleasant Friday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 81 degrees. Temperatures will feel warm, yet refreshing throughout the afternoon.

FRIDAY NIGHT: The weather will be fantastic for high school football games Friday evening, with temperatures in the low to mid 70s through the evening hours. Clear skies will be around Friday night into Saturday morning, with overnight low temperatures around 57 degrees by Saturday morning.

WEEKEND: Temperatures will gradually get a little warmer this weekend into next week, with high temperatures returning to the mid 80s. Skies will generally be partly sunny. Saturday high temperatures will be around 84 degrees, with a high of 86 degrees for Sunday. The weather is looking nice for the UK Football game at 12pm Saturday, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures around 80 degrees. There will be a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm on Sunday, otherwise we expect the weekend to be dry.

NEXT WEEK: We will continue to have warm temperatures next week, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Skies will generally be partly sunny, with the chance for some isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
