Less Snow, But Cooling Trend Continues

Less Snow, But Cooling Trend Continues

Snow showers will continue to become more scattered across the region as temperatures drop this weekend.
Midnight Update: We are still seeing some scattered areas of rain, sleet, and snow across the area, which should switch over to scattered snow showers by Friday morning. A few locations could see a dusting of snow on the ground by morning.

Temperatuers are holding steady near freezing in most places. Our winds have finally dropped below 10mph, making it a bit more comfortable outside.

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have your updated weekend forecast on ABC 36 starting at 5 a.m. during Good Morning Kentucky.

A few scattered snow showers will be possible overnight into Friday morning. Areas that do see snow, will see little to no accumulation. Temperatures will start Friday in the low 30s with cloudy skies.

During the day Friday, some light sleet or snow will be possible. Otherwise, expect another cloudy and chilly day with highs in the mid 30s.

We will continue to slowly cool into the weekend with highs in the low and mid 30s, but the sunshine starts to come back out on Sunday!
