Midnight Update: Winds have died down this evening and are now below 10 mph in most areas of Kentucky. Some areas have already fallen into the upper 30s, including Lexington which is now at 38°. Morning lows still look to be near 30° on Tuesday morning.

Skies will clear this evening as temperatures drop to near 30° by Tuesday morning. More clouds are expected in eastern and southern Kentucky overnight compared to the Bluegrass. Winds will die down late this evening.

We will warm into the upper 40s on Tuesday afternoon with mostly sunny skies around central and northern Kentucky. Southern and eastern Kentucky could again see a few extra clouds through the day. Wind will be back to their more typical 5 to 10 mph range.

We will start Wednesday with temperatures in the mid 30s as rain begins to move in from the southwest. Some of this rain could switch to a rain/snow mixture Wednesday night, possibly even all snow in our northern counties.
