Update: Temperatures are already falling into the 20s just before midnight. Lexington is at 26° at 11:30 Sunday night which is 19° cooler than the same time Saturday night. By morning, we will be in the low 20s. Bundle up if you are headed out tonight or Monday morning!

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have the latest on the coming frigid weather starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.

A few extra clouds will move in this evening as temperatures drop down into the mid 20s by Monday morning. Winds will be out of the northwest from 5 to 10 mph.

Colder air continues to move into the region during the day on Monday afternoon and will hold afternoon highs to the low 30s with a few clouds.

The coldest weather still looks to be for Tuesday morning, when many areas could fall to the single digits.
