Heavy rain will continue this evening and expand further east. Cold air is also pushing in, causing temperatures to sharply drop as we head into Monday morning. With temperatures expected to drop into the upper 20s by morning, some wet roads may freeze for the morning commute.

By Monday afternoon, most rain will have pushed into far southern and eastern Kentucky. Areas closer to the Bluegrass could see some afternoon sunshine with highs near the mid and upper 30s.

Tuesday could bring more rain into mainly southern and eastern Kentucky with temperatures ranging from the mid 20s in the morning to near 40° in the afternoon.
