A warm overnight is expected as temperatures drop into the mid 60s. A stray overnight shower or storm may linger in extreme southern Kentucky.

Partly cloudy skies will persist on Thursday as temperatures soar back into the 90s. High temperatures will peak in the mid 90s with heat indices in the upper 90s. The only stray storm chance will be extreme southern Kentucky. The Bluegrass will remain dry.

Scattered thunderstorms will return to the region on Friday as high temperatures remain in the 90s. Thunderstorms will become more widespread this weekend with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
