Rain Arrives Along a Cold Front

Partly cloudy skies will continue tonight as winds remain around 5 to 12 mph. As a result, temperatures will remain mild. We'll only drop into the low to mid 50s. It will remain dry tonight and early on Tuesday.

An approaching cold front, will encounter surface moisture in the Ohio River valley, and a band of rain, with embedded thunderstorms will arrive from the northwest on Tuesday afternoon. The rain will spread southeast Tuesday evening. Around 0.30"-0.50" of rain area wide, is expected by Wednesday morning.The winds will be strong out of the southwest at 12 to 20 mph, throughout the day, allowing the temperature to peak in the mid 60s.

Behind the front, temperatures will remain above normal with highs still in the 50s for the midweek.
