Midnight Update: Temperatures have fallen to 40° in Lexington and into the low 40s across the rest of Kentucky. Skies are continuing to clear, generally from west to east. As we lose the cloud cover above tonight, temps will begin to slide downward more quickly. Some areas in the Bluegrass could fall just below freezing for the morning commute.

Mostly sunny skies are still on the way for Wednesday!! Enjoy them while they last!

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have the latest on our next chance for rain starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky on ABC 36.
________________________________________________________________

For the first time since January 26th, we stayed completely dry today in Lexington. We will remain dry as we move into early Wednesday morning. We will be slightly cooler on Wednesday morning with lows near 30°. Skies will continue to slowly clear overnight.

Wednesday afternoon will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40s, just slightly lower than Tuesday afternoon. Some southern areas of Kentucky could hit 50° by mid afternoon.

We continue to warm up into Thursday with highs in the mid 50s. Our next slight chance of rain will be Thursday afternoon into early Friday morning.
