A strong thunderstorm complex that moved through Cincinnati Friday afternoon, produced a gust front that surged south across central and eastern Kentucky.

The highest winds were reported in eastern Kentucky, with numerous counties reporting trees and powers lines down.

In Fleming County, downed power lines sparked numerous fires.

Downed trees were also reported all across the Bluegrass, although most damage was contained to east of I-75.

The winds gusted to 49 mph in Cynthiana when the gust front went through around 6:15 PM.

In Winchester the winds were between 45 and 58 mph at 7:00 PM Friday evening.
