A stray evening shower or storm will be possible in the region. The better chance will be across southern Kentucky. Any showers or storms that do develop will move very little, leading to heavy downpours. No severe weather is expected at this time.
We'll quiet down for the overnight as temperatures remain warm, dropping into the mid 60s with light winds. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be near 90 degrees in southern Kentucky and the upper 80s in the Bluegrass. The humidity will continue as well with heat indices 1-3 degrees higher than the air temperatures. A stray afternoon or evening shower or storm will be possible.
A repeat forecast is expected on Sunday as temperatures remain very warm.
