Midnight Update: Temperatures continue to fall this evening and are currently sitting at 32° in Lexington. Factor in the wind, and it feels like the mid 20s. Temperatures are still expected to fall into the low 20s by Saturday morning as skies clear. Clearing skies makes for a sunny Saturday!!

Meteorologist Michael Estime will be in at 6:30 and 11 p.m. on Saturday with the latest on the weekend warm-up and rainfall. Have a great weekend!!

After Lexington picked up .12" of rainfall Friday morning, skies will finally begin to clear overnight into Saturday. We will start the weekend very cold with temps in the low 20s early Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon will be sunny and a bit warmer with afternoon highs in the mid 40s. Winds won't be as strong as they were Friday afternoon.

The clouds return for Sunday with temperatures ranging from the low 30s to the mid 50s in the afternoon. Rain return Sunday evening.
