Lexington Police: No Children Injured After Car Collided With School Bus

The Lexington Police Department said there were no children injured Tuesday when a car collided with a school bus.

Police said it happened just before 11:00 a.m. on Hays Boulevard and Richmond Road.

According to investigators, a PT Cruiser ran a red light and hit the bus.

There were reportedly 15 children on board when it happened.

Police said the driver of the PT Cruiser was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word yet if the driver will face charges in the collision.
