Kentucky Head Coach Joker Phillips on Monday said that three players who were cited for marijuana possession last week, have been reinstated to the team.

University of Kentucky Police said junior running back Raymond Sanders, freshman wide receiver Bookie Cobbins and freshman cornerback Marcus Caffey were cited September 13, 2012 for marijuana possession.

The three players are scheduled to appear in court on the misdemeanor charge next month.

Phillips said the coaching staff found out about the incident last Friday and immediately suspended Sanders and Cobbins for the Western Kentucky game the following day.  Caffey is already academically ineligible, but still on the team, according to Phillips.
