Attorney General Jack Conway announced on Wednesday that his office had filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Spencerian College. In Kentucky, the college has locations in Lexington and Louisville. The complaint alleges that Spencerian violated the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act with false advertised graduation job placement rates.

The lawsuit seeks an injunction to prohibit further deceptive trade practices from Spencerian, civil penalties of $2,000 per violation, and recovery of investigative costs and attorney's fees.
