Man Shot In The Head At Lexington Park

Officers on the hunt for a shooter that opened fire in a crowded Lexington park that hit a man in the head.

The 21 year old is now facing life-threatening conditions at the UK Hospital.

Police say shots were fired at Duncan Park around 6:30 at night Sunday.  The victim was found unconscious with no vital signs.

They aren't sure if the man was hit intentionally or if the shooter was aiming at somone else.

There were witnesses.  Investigators have some descriptions.  They're on the lookout for a dark-colored car, possibly a Pontiac Grand Prix.

Police tell us they may not know how bad his injuries are for a few days.
