Youth Coach Accused Of Sexually Abusing Boys

The Kentucky Attorney General's Office said Michael Schweitzer, 46, of Hebron, was indicted on charges that he reportedly sexually abused six boys from May 2011 through June 2013.
A long-time youth coach in northern Kentucky was indicted Tuesday on charges that he reportedly sexually abused six boys from May 2011 through June  2013.

Michael Schweitzer, 46, of Hebron, was originally charged with drugging and sexually abusing a 13-year old boy. 

An additional five boys then came forward with similar allegations of abuse, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Department.

The Kentucky Attorney General's Office said in a release that a Boone County Grand Jury returned 14-indictments in connection to the case.

Authorities said Schweitzer was a volunteer coach for various Boone County area youth baseball, basketball, football and wrestling teams.

Investigators said if there are other reported victims out there, they should contact the Boone County Sheriff's Department at 859-334-2175.

Schweitzer is in the Boone County Jail on a $500,000 full cash bond.
