Freshman forward James Young suffered a left shoulder sprain during Tuesday's practice.

He'll miss some time on the floor right now but should be fine by the time the season actually starts...and is listed day-to-day.

With or without Young, or any of the guys should they sustain injuries throughout the year...this team has to learn and learn fast.

Games in the non-conference against Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina and more will certainly make it difficult early on for a young team to win while learning but that's the plan for the Cats.

More from Cal in the video.
