The Christian Appalachian Project and the Community Inn is taking up things like bottled water, beverages, flashlights, batteries and non-perishable foods.

Starting on Sunday, you can drop off donations at the Hamburg WalMart on Gray Lag Way in Lexington.

An Operation Sharing Truck will be stationed at the store on Sunday from 1pm to 6pm.

The group will also take donations there Monday the 5th through Saturday the 10th from noon to 7pm.

The American Red Cross Bluegrass Chapter is asking for trained volunteers and financial donations to help storm victims.

You can make a monetary contribution at any Kroger store or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.

Meanwhile the First Baptist Church of East Bernstadt needs unused pillows, blankets, and trash bags.

You can drop them off at the church at 226 School Street.

Financial donations to aid in relief for victims is also welcomed.

Checks and money orders should be made to the United Way, P.O. Box 5004, London, KY 40743.

Please designate donations as for East Bernstadt Storm Victims.

Also, the Clark County Judge Executive is collecting items to send to Morgan County.

Donations needed include Bottled water (individual), toiletries, Tooth brushes, paper plates and plastic silverware, bleach and non perishable foods.

Volunteers will have a collection truck in the front of the Winchester Walmart Sunday and Monday from 3:00pm - 5:00 pm.
