Yarnallton Road In Fayette County To Be Closed Wednesday

KY 1977 (Yarnallton Road) in Fayette County is scheduled to be closed Wednesday, February 20, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., as work is completed on a railroad crossing.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for KY 1977 (Yarnallton Road) in Lexington, Fayette County. 

The closure is necessary for the R.J. Corman Railroad Company to complete work on the railroad crossing.

Work will be performed:

·         Wednesday, February 20 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The location for the project on KY 1977 (Yarnallton Road) will be railroad mile point 87.2.  This area is between KY 1681 (Old Frankfort Pike) and US 421 (Leestown Road). 

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the work area.
