Wildcat Championship Wrestling hosted an event to celebrate the life of a teenager from Anderson County who was killed in a car crash.

Earlier this month, Cody Ramsey, 17, died in an accident on Highway 62.

Tonight’s fundraiser was in honor of his life.

Organizers say the main event was a wrestling match, and that the goal was to have fun, but for a purpose.

Part of the proceeds from event ticket sales, raffle ticket sales and donations will be given to Ramsey’s family to help pay for his funeral.
