A worker painting lines on a Lexington road was struck by a car late Sunday night.
The painter was working on Nicholasville Road and Reynolds Road at around 11 p.m. when she was hit.
Police said a truck was blocking the roadway as she was trying to paint and as she went around it, a car passed the parked truck, hit her and kept going.
The worker suffered minor injuries, according to police.
She was taken to the hospital to be treated.
Police said the car is a blue Camry with damage to the front passenger's side.
