People of Woodford County and beyond got up close and personal with some property that's usually private.

Visitors from as far away as Memphis took advantage of the fourth annual Woodford County Woman's Club Spring Garden Tour.

Eight gardens in and around Versailles including a rain garden, koi ponds, a traditional English Garden, and a poolside garden were open to the public.

In addition to showing off the natural beauty of the region and offering some inspiration for patrons own yards, the event benefited a number of charities throughout the county including the Coats and Shoes for Kids Project.
