Woodford County's first year head coach, Jeff Parrett, enjoyed a nice, cool ice-water bath after the Jackets closed out Henderson County 4-0 for the 2012 state crown.

In just the program's first appearance, Woodford was able to keep the Colonels from crossing home plate even once.
