The woman accused of running down a Good Samaritan in Lexington says she's not guilty.

Shamecko Howard is accused of assault in an incident that left a man in fighting for his life.

Police say Howard was involved in an argument at a gas station on Broadway at Angliana when a man named Christopher Mayfield tried to break it up.

According to police, Howard then ran down Mayfield with her car.

He's at UK Hospital.
