Woman's Body Found In Creek At Golf Course In Lexington

Police said a golf course employee looking for golf balls found a woman's body Thursday morning in a creek next to the golf course.

ABC 36 News had exclusive video from the scene.

The Fayette County Coroner said she was 56 years old. She was wearing a medical bracelet around her wrist.

Police said her family had reported her missing.

Officials said it's not clear how long the body had been there. The coroner said there were no signs of trauma.

As of this writing, the woman's name had not been released pending notification of family members.
