Detectives from Kentucky State Police and Grant County Sheriff's K-9 unit discovered a woman's remains in a home in the Aflex Community of Pike County last Friday, according to a police report.

Police said they were sent to the home of Bruce Dillon, 52, to conduct a search when they discovered a container, which held the remains of an unidentified female inside. Police said the remains were sent to Frankfort for an autopsy and identification; Dillon was arrested.

Dillon is being charged with one county of murder, and one count of abuse of a corpse, according to police. He is currently in the Pike County Detention Center.

The case is still under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Jimmy Anderson.

The woman's body has not yet been identified.
