A woman died following an accident in Adair County on Monday.
Kentucky State Police said it happened on Kentuck 61 and the Columbia bypass.
Police said 44-year-old Glenda Downey of Jamestown was driving a 1993 Oldsmobile when she ran a red light.
She struck a 1995 Chevy operated by 59-year-old Ronald Gibson of Columbia.
Gibson's car then struck a 1996 Chevrolet that was traveling east on Burkesville Street.
Downey was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner.
Gibson and the other driver were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.
A passenger in Downey's car was flown to University of Kentucky Hospital and was last listed in stable condition.
