Investigators are trying to determine how a woman died after she was found unresponsive following an early-morning fire in Lexington.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, they responded to a call of smoke in a trailer on Eastland Drive at around 3 a.m.
They said the small fire was contained to a back room but there was minimal damage.
The only person inside the home at the time was a woman in her mid-50's, according to firefighters.
The woman was brought to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Firefighters are not sure if the woman's death was connected to the fire or if there was a pre-existing medical condition.
Firefighters said there was an oxygen tank in the home.
