Woman Found Dead After Apartment fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Fire officials in Metro Louisville say they have found a woman dead after a blaze at an apartment building.

Officials told WAVE-TV (http://bit.ly/1j1tILR) that they were called to the scene early Tuesday morning and found smoke coming from the second floor of the two-story building. After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters found a woman dead in her bedroom.

Officials said the fire damage was contained to room where the woman was found. Her name has not been released.

No other injuries were reported. Firefighters are still investigating the cause.
