A motorcycle accident in Whitley County killed one and injured another this afternoon.
According to the Whitley County Coroner Vanessa Cheatham, 41, was sitting on a motorcycle behind her husband, James Cheatham, when they rear-ended a vehicle.
The coroner says the vehicle had been stopped because of an accident in the other lane.
Vanessa was taken to the hospital where the coroner said she died.
James was air-lifted to the University of Tennessee Hospital.
