LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police say a Louisville woman is charged with assault after she allegedly attacked a coach and a middle school student after a girls' basketball game.

Police said 36-year-old Wanohah Hope Knuckles is charged with one count each of third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. Police say Knuckles, whose daughter plays basketball at Kammerer Middle School, entered the locker room at Westport Middle School after a game on Feb. 7 and pushed the coach then began choking a player.

She was arrested Friday. Police said in the arrest warrant that the incident stemmed from insulting comments the Westport player made on Facebook about Knuckles' daughter after the teams played against each other in January.

It was unclear whether Knuckles has an attorney.
