Nicholasville police said a woman has been arrested after she allegedly robbed the Speedway on North Main and Barnes Street twice in four days.

Officers said they were called to the gas station around 1 Friday morning after receiving word of a holdup taking place.

The description they were given of the suspect was similar to the description of the person who had robbed the store three mornings earlier, according to a report.

Police said they found Martreshia Jackson, who matched the clerk's description, roughly two blocks away from the gas station.

She was arrested and charged with robbery, with more charges expected.
