Woman Accused Of Stealing From Tornado-Damaged Home Arrested

A woman wanted in connection to a burglary at a tornado-damaged home in Morgan County is captured in Montgomery County.

Police say Tamara Smallwood, 41, was arrested Tuesday morning after an anonymous tip placed her at 317 Caulk Lake Road in Montgomery County.
 
Smallwood was wanted on a Morgan County indictment warrant in connection with a burglary of the tornado-damaged home in Morgan County.

She’s being charged with first degree burglary. Smallwood is being held without bond.
