Woman Accused In Transylvania Robbery Pleads Not Guilty

Ray Ray Shawntay Sharp-Warren pleaded not guilty to robbery charges in her first court appearance on Monday. She's accused of robbing the accounting office at Transylvania University in Lexington.
A woman accuse of robbing the accounting office at Transylvania University in Lexington pleaded not guilty during her first court appearance Monday in Fayette District Court.

Lexington Police said Ray Ray Shawntay Sharp-Warren walked into the accounting office in the Old Morrison Building, implied she had a gun and demanded money.

Investigators said after getting a small amount of cash, she fled the building.

Police said another person may have been involved, but no other arrests had been made.

The November 14th robbery led to a campus-wide safety alert.
