Police in Lexington say two people were firing shots at each other from a gold-colored car and a dark SUV on New Circle Road.

It happened around Palumbo Drive at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told police that at a red light, someone got out of the SUV, walked to the car, and fired more shots. The car then left the area.

Witnesses say someone must have been shot; but police say there's no blood, and no one at the hospital.
