A man who helped rescue victims from a daycare van crash in Louisville says something wasn't right in that van.

James Jaggers is a mechanic. He and his son Austin ran to the van, just after it crashed on June 12th.

"They were moving and crying and stuff like that, you know, so I braced their heads and started handing them out," Jaggers told WAVE-3 in Louisville. "I'm just going to tell the truth. They had four kids in one seatbelt."

An adult monitor died and some children in the van went to the hospital.
