Over the next 36 hours winter weather conditions will burden most of the Bluegrass area. Some areas have already topped one inch or more of precipitation and the moisture keeps coming.  After the passing cold front Sunday, wrap around moisture will plague the area.  Most of this will present itself as snow, but periods of a wintry mix should not be ruled out either. For the overnight the moisture begins to transform to snow due to falling temperatures down to 30 degrees. Through the overnight northern counties could receive up to a half of an inch of snowfall with mostly a slushy/wintry mix along the Cumberland Parkway. Tomorrow morning commutes will be affected with snow, reduced visibilities, and freezing roadways.  Breezy conditions continue through the overnight and afternoon tomorrow with winds out of the ENE at 10-18 mph with gusts as strong as 30 mph.  This will bring blustery conditions tomorrow with blowing and falling snow.  An additional one to two inches is likely tomorrow for areas north of I64 with about an inch likely south of the interstate.  High temperatures for Monday will only reach 34 degrees creating slick spots on the roadways even through Tuesday morning.  The cold air and snow continues into the afternoon Tuesday with additional snow likely.
