Winchester Company Donates Smoke Detectors To Fire Stations

Some Central Kentucky Fire Departments now have more smoke detectors to hand out to the public.
Some Central Kentucky Fire Departments now have more smoke detectors to hand out to the public.

That's because the JWI Restoration Company donated about 400 smoke detectors Thursday to several fire departments.

They were distributed to departments in Bourbon, Clark and Montgomery Counties.

The company says it picked this week because many people check the batteries in their smoke detectors, around the same time they set back their clocks for the end of daylight savings time.
