Kyle Wiltjer is still a Wildcat.

That's according to his father, Greg.

In an interview with the Portland Tribune, Greg Wiltjer also said this, "He loves being a Kentucky Wildcat and he's not 100 percent committed to transferring."

And even though Wiltjer and Coach Cal have a great relationship, the problem at UK still remains.

Wiltjer fits more with Duke or Gonzaga system...not with the thoroughbreds coming in next season.  That's not only his father's take, but the 'experts' as well.

Wiltjer's body is still a problem as well according to the senior Wiltjer.

He needs to come off screens and is trying to get stronger and quicker.

Hopefully time with the Canadian national team overseas is helping in those areas.

We'll update you with the latest information on Wiltjer's status with the Cats right here on WTVQ.com and via Twitter @AlexRisen.
