Wildfire Forces Evacuations At Pine Mountain State Resort Park

A 30-acre wildfire forced the evacuation of cabins on Saturday at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Bell County, according to the Kentucky Division of Forestry.

The Division of Forestry said fire lines had been established around the cabins and lodge to protect the structures.

The Division of Forestry said no one had been hurt.

The Division of Forestry was fighting 41 fires in a sixteen county area of eastern and southeastern Kentucky.

The Division of Forestry cautioned against any outdoor burning.
