A state park in Harlan and Letcher Counties has been shut down due to a large wildfire in the area.

Kingdom Come State Park was closed after officials said smoke was covering trails and roadways throughout the park.

So far, authorities estimate that 465 acres have been consumed by the flames.

Around 50 firefighters have worked to combat the fire.

Crews said winds and the hilly terrain have caused the flames to jump over some of the set fire lines.
