Questions, like d-linemen, have surrounded Kentucky QB Jalen Whitlow just about all season.

First - was he the best QB on his own team? Did he earn the right to start over Max Smith?

The latest - was he tough enough to return from ankle and shoulder injuries?

Last night - he responded with a 4-td triumph over Alabama State.

Proving nothing wrong with his ankle by running 88 yards on just the second play from scrimmage. He'd finish as just the fifth UK QB since 1983 to rush for 100 yards.

Showing nothing wrong with his shoulder - tossing two tds in just UK's second victory of the year.

Mark Stoops - happy to see Whitlow winging it again.
