A Lexington shelter has beef, thanks to the Cats' win in the NCAA tournament.

Governor Beshear placed a bet with the governor of Kansas. Since UK won, Beshear got some Kansas beef. He denoted it to the Jacobs Hope Cafeteria, and the people there were grateful for the gift.

"I think it's really neat that he (Governor Beshear) chose the Hope Center. I mean the Hope Center means a lot to me. It's been a year now since I came into the program," Mark Hall of the Hope Center told ABC 36. "And it's just enabled me to turn my life around and everything. Anything anybody can do is just tremendous, and to have the governor and first lady to bring the attention to it that they do is really great."

This cafeteria opened in February, and was paid for, in part, by a million dollar donation from Don and Cathy Jacobs.
