Lexington's Triangle Park has an ice rink -- but people won't be skating the next few months.

The rink, which opened in November, is now closed until next November, as planned. But businesses near the park have high hopes customers will still be coming their way.

Business like 'Fabulous Hats' and 'Only in Kentucky' sold gloves, hats, and other things to the estimated 22-thousand people who skated the last three months. They hope to benefit from the cafe that should open in March or April. A Friday night movie series and Sunday afternoon concert series are on the way this summer.
